Gibraltar Betting and Gaming Association (GBGA) is the governing body for all forms of gaming in Gibraltar. It was established in 2001 and works to ensure that all gambling operations are conducted within the laws of Gibraltar, which prohibit betting on football games outside of the UK.
GBGA also licenses online casino operators, monitors player behavior, enforces anti-money laundering policies, approves new gaming establishments, and educates players about responsible gambling practices. In addition, it promotes tourism by marketing Gibraltar as a premier global destination for online gaming, iGaming and entertainment.
